Pleasure in Painting

A weekly painting course based centrally to Wimbledon, run by local artist Sam Peacock, Pleasure in Painting gives the individual a chance to learn different art techniques and practice on a weekly basis with expert guidance and tuition.

The course looks at Still Life, Landscape, Life Drawing and Portrait over the year and has 2 yearly art exhibitions where all participants are asked to submit work.

We cater for all abilities on the course and have a wide ranging and diverse mix of people taking part and offer a warm friendly atmosphere which builds confidence to experiment different techniques in art over a period of time which our current members truly enjoy.

All materials are supplied along with easels if required, but feel free to bring along any materials that you wish with you. Tea and Coffee is also supplied.
Cost of the course is £9 per session which you can pay either weekly or on a monthly basis, by cash or cheque.

The course runs on a Wednesday 09.30-12.00 at the Wimbledon Community Centre, St Georges Rd, Wimbledon.
