Artist's Application for the Fringe 2012
Applications are now welcome from all artists of all mediums for consideration to take part in the Stratford Fringe Festival. Please read artists info. Taking place on 2-9th June 2012.
To be considered for entry to the 2012 Stratford Upon Avon Fringe Festival, you will need to send the following to:
- Name, address and contact number.
- 3 Images of your recent work.
- Biography (50-100 words)
If selected, you will be asked to contribute 3 pieces from the following disciplines. Painting, Sculpture, Photography, installation, fashion design.
There is a £40 cost to exhibit for the week, this payment will help fund art projects in the town throughout the year.
The fringe festival operates a policy in some of its venues of having a "not for sale" policy. This is due to several venues who take part in the festival operating as a charity.
The Stratford Fringe aims to forge links between local schools and colleges and give emerging talent a chance to exhibit next to more established artists. If you feel you wish to take part in a series of talks about individuals work over the week, we would welcome a proposal for this.
Works are to dropped off at a given date and time, you will receive this by email or text to be curated by the team.
All work left in the venues is insured by the Stratford Fringe.
